π π Participate in Berlin Salary Trends anonymous survey! Three minutes max.
You said "let's do it" and we are doing it! Benchmark your salary to others and see your market worth.
π Hey there, I am really happy and excited to be able to write these sentences:
You asked for it in the issue#41 (27th of Feb), and I did it; an anonymous survey about the salaries in Berlin. I have spent a couple of months and tens of hours on the design and content and decided to open-source it so that as many people as possible can benefit from it.
Itβs under 3 min, straightforward and available in German and English!
You can submit your answers by the 1st of July; results will be published two weeks later.
But there is more. π€― We also have a GitHub repository where you will find the data and, hopefully, all the future surveys.
πͺ Please help by participating
The more data we get, the better and less noisy the results. Thanks!
π Please help by sharing it
The more people find out, the better. I do not have any budget for advertising, so I am counting on your help.
Here are some ideas. You can:
share it with friends,
share inside your company on Slack/Teams channels,
write an article about it,
mention it on your podcast,
talk about it at your brunch this weekend,
add it to your dating profile,
talk about it with your family during your Sunday lunch.
Ok, maybe skip the last two.
Why? Because it will help you see where you stand in comparison to others. And this is WORTH A LOT! π
Wanna read more? Of course, there is more! Current table of contents on GitHub:
And hey, you can also GET INVOLVED with:
data visualisation,
data analysis (e.g. Jupyter or other methods),
methodology & questionnaire improvements (if the survey will be recurring),
promotion (increasing the reach),
validation of German translation of README (if it ever comes).
Or, staaaari, even doing it for another city? π
If you have urgent feedback on some questions, please let me know because I can still make minor corrections. It has been years since I studied the methodology of social science research. π
Thanks to Laura, Patrik, Zim, Jacek and Zaki for testing the draft survey.
